Here at the Garrison we are not just your typical bed and breakfast. You can also take advantage of our equipment hire for your outdoor pursuits and then relax under the stars in this dark skies area in our scandinavian style wood fired hot tub.
Hot tub
Here at the Garrison we have a hot tub jacuzzi available for guest use, situated by the entrance gate and offering outstanding mountain views. The Hot Tub is emptied and refilled daily as we do not use chemicals in the water. The water in the Hot Tub water is from the natural spring burn on the hillside so the water may have a peat colour and sediment. We light the hot tub as needed so please be aware it may be a few hours before it reaches a comfortable temperature. Included in your stay, but is subject to availability.
Activities
Walking/hiking – you have an ordinance survey map on your room wall which shows many hiking areas from here. Two main walks which you can do comfortably are from the RSPB car park behind us, you have the Upland Trail which is through the metal gate behind the wooden signpost and is Northwards up through the glen and then again from the RSPB carpark head to the right and you will see the old military road which heads east towards Stronachlachar.
